Series I. Correspondence

Series I, Correspondence, contains three boxes of letters received and sent
during his naval reserve career, 1937-1962, that treat the various projects
with which he was involved. These letters are addressed to flag rank
officers of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force and politicians, among others.
A significant portion of correspondence in later years deals with his
failure to achieve flag rank.

Series II. Naval Papers

Naval papers, Series II, are housed in three boxes. The first box contains
material pertaining to his assignments while the other two contain
documentation on the Merchant Ship Intelligence Program, Communication
Instructions for Reporting Vital Intelligence Sightings, and Communications
Instructions for Reporting Military Intelligence Sightings, and
Communications for Reporting Enemy Sightings and a Joint Army-Navy
Publication for Reporting Intelligence for merchant ships and aircraft.

Series III. Subject Files

Series III, Subject Files, contains correspondence, clippings and articles
pertaining to boards that Baruch served on or topics that interested him,
such as St. Francis Hospital, The Committee of One Hundred, United Airlines,
Pan American Airline, the Eastern Sea Frontier and military etiquette.

Series IV. Miscellany

Miscellany, Series IV, contains naval training films and film scripts,
photographs of United States, British and German submarines of WWII vintage.
In addition, there are two boxes of slides of submarines and German ships
and seaplanes. Imprints and career photographs complete this section.
