The Gordon Hall and Grace Hoag collection of Dissenting and Extremist Printed Propaganda contains over one hundred and sixty-eight thousand publications from more than fifty-four hundred organizations, political parties, cults and publishers.

The collection contains documents representating a very broad spectrum of militant political, social, and religious dissent in the United States from the post-World War II period through the 1990's. The organizations, political parties, cults, and publishers, and the publications that represent them, range from far left to right wing, and include groups as disparate as the Communist Party, USA and the American Nazi Party.
