Series Series III. Subject Files
As an avid collector, Moore undertook extensive research of both the silversmiths and the pieces they designed prior to purchasing any one particular piece. The series contains the research materials used by Moore to verify the authenticity and history of each item purchased. Also included are auction itineraries and catalogs, appraisals, and receipts generated by Moore's purchases.

Additional documentation pertains to exhibitions of Moore's silver collection hosted by Newton College of the Sacred Heart, Point Association of Newport, the Rhode Island Historical Society, Rhode Island School of Design, and Salve Regina College.
