| Acquisition: | These scrapbooks were recovered from the Colony House during the late 1990s when the Newport Historical Society was given stewardship of the building. Although the books were compiled by Commerford, the third volume states that they are a gift of Edith Wetmore, most likely to former Colony House stewards, Old Statehouse in Newport, Inc. |
