This collection consists of a certificate dated November 24, 1814, signed by William Ellery (1727-1820), collector of the port of Newport, Rhode Island, and W. Nichols, an officer verifying that William Austin of the ship Anna Maria of Havana had secured the duties of merchandize for the goods imported on the ship from Havana.
