| Acquisition: | These materials were abandoned by the John Birch Society and retrieved from a dumpster in Belmont, Massachusetts, after the John Birch Society moved its headquarters to Appleton, Wisconsin in 1989. The John Birch Society records were given to the Brown University Library in June 1993 by Political Research Associates, an independent, non-profit research center located in Somerville, Massachusetts. |
