cataloged as the Morse Whaling Collection and are part of Special Collections, John Hay
Library, Brown University.
Two sets of papers, originally affiliated with the Carleton D. Morse whaling
collection, have been processed, cataloged, and housed separately from the remainder
of the collection:

Pinkham family correspondence, 1855-1863.
14 items. Correspondence between the Pinkham family members as well

- Marshall Johnson papers, 1835-1860. Ca. 100 items. Business and
family papers. Includes letters and accounts as well as correspondence between
the Johnson brothers. Collection number: A79.38.
