Correspondents include George P. Baker, Alice H. Bartlett, Gamaliel Bradford, Abbie F. Brown, Edgar Guest, DuBose Heyward, Walter Lippmann, Josephine Peabody, H. L. Mencken, Bliss Perry, and Edward A. Robinson. The collection also contains 20th-century transcripts of mid-19th-century correspondence of Confederate Gen. George Pickett and his wife, LaSalle Corbell Pickett.
