Scope & content
The collection contains a course notebook, one folder of student work, and metal drafting tools, 1930-1935, and post-1945. The notebook contains Hardy's sketches of styles of ornamentation including Greek, Celtic, Chinese, Roman, Persian, and Byzantine, most likely from the History of Ornament course. The course work folder contains his color drawings of women's rings and pendants, 1930.
The tools consist of a metal pantograph (M. Grumbacher, NY), rulers, a proportional divider (Teledyne Post, West Germany), and drafting compasses by Schoenner (Germany), Morilla (Germany), and others.
