| ABOUT THE COLLECTION | |
| Acquisition: | The collection was donated in November 2022 and a deed of gift was signed by Jim Langevin at that time. An addition to the collection arrived in December 2022. |
| Processing information: | The collection was initially arranged by Langevin’s staff prior to arrival in Special Collections. This arrangement was retained. The entire collection was reboxed and refoldered, as well as described in 2023 by Veronica L. Denison, Digital Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at Rhode Island College. Original folder titles were retained, however further description to folder titles was occasionally added for clarity. Special Collections intern Melissa Moniz, and Special Collections student workers Lilliana Martinez and Hydin Stallman helped with description of the collection. Moniz refoldered and described items in Series 5, while Martinez and Stallman entered the information from Series 5 into the finding aid. |
