This series contains the programs and proceedings of meeting held from 1971 to 2003. Proceedings from annual meetings of NERAAA held from 1990-1991 and 1993-2002 exist in the records. Annual Meeting Programs from 1971-1985 and 1987-2003 are also included. Participants received a published copy of the schedule of events and speakers as well as brief abstracts from papers submitted by participants. The topics of the papers range from national industry concerns to global accounting standards. Speakers include Robert N. Anthony, Harvard Business School, Spencer J. Martin, University of Rhode Island, Corine Norgaard, University of Connecticut and Richard Vangermeersch, University of Rhode Island.

Series 2. Hall of Fame

This series includes correspondence from the original 1991 Hall of Fame inductees such as Robert N. Anthony, Harvard Businees School, John A. Beckett, the University of New Hampshire, Norman D. Berman, New York University, Gordon Shillinglaw, Columbia University, and Porter S. Wood, University of Rhode Island. Also included are photographs of Hall of Fame inductees from 1991-1994. Publicity information is available from 1991-1992, 1994 and 1999.

Arrangement: The series is arranged chronologically and alphabetically within the folders.

Box 3-4, Folder 1-11
This series contains the original 1951 registration list as well as a copy of the speech given in 1951 by Rae D. Anderson, C.P.A., Dean of the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance. Correspondence of Richard Vangermeersch and Anthony T. Kryzstofikin documents their effort to write and publish "A Brief History of the Northeast Region of the American Accounting Association." The 1994 and 1996 copies of the Northeast Region of the American Accounting Association Newsletter are included along with 3 volumes of NERAAA publication, "The Accounting Journal," 1977-1980.
