Scope & content

The collection consists of 121 whiteprint (or whiteline blueprint) sheets outlining the company's numbered 'type plans', from plan #1 to #132 (incomplete). The sheets date from 1954 to 1973 and the majority are from the mid 1960s. Each sheet measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches, and there are approximately six that are larger, folded sheets.

A few of the plans include whiteprints of typed letters answering specific, technical questions. Many of the sheets have the following text; "Special Note: This "Type Plan" is provided to indicate General Design Only. All dimensions and other details relating to application of this drawing to a particular boat must be considered carefully by the builder and, when necessary, be reviewed with the architect."
