The Rhode Island Constitutional Convention Papers contains the official proceedings, proposals, and reports from the Convention in addition to correspondence and memorandums between the delegates. This collection also includes access to digitized copies of the Journals from the Constitutional Convention.

These papers date from 1927-2009 and include the personal papers and materials of M. Charles Bakst, Brown '66, and journalist for the Providence Journal. Includes manuscripts, correspondence, notebooks, ephemera, photographs, audiocassettes and videotapes related to his student days at Brown and his career as a reporter and columnist.
Beckwith papers (1946-2011) is a significant collection of organizational records,
correspondence, publications, training and funding materials relating to community
development and organizing on both the local and national levels. Most of the material
dates from 1980 to 1999 and represents the work of a wide range of community
organizations, advocacy-based coalitions, governmental agencies and private
organizations devoted to fulfilling social needs such as housing, transportation and
education. The Papers also include a small but noteworthy collection of counter-culture
newspapers from the mid-1960s and early 1970s.

This collection contains material
related to John P. Bourcier's career as a jurist in Rhode Island from 1974 to 2002. It
includes his Superior and Supreme Court decisions, instructions to juries, material related
to his service on various committees, his work with the Alternate Disput Resolution Task
Force created by Chief Justice Frank J. Williams, newspaper articles and correspondence
regarding the antinuclear Trident II Plowshares trial, and the 1984 trial of Vincent A.
The collection contains newspaper clippings from two daily newspapers in Brazil, O Estrado de Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo) and Jornal do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro), and the weekly Opiniao. The clippings were mailed to subscribers along with monthly indices. The service operated from 1971-1976.
The collection consists of documentation, photographs, and memoribilia of Marine Colonel John V. Brennan (Providence College Class of ’59). The center piece of this collection are Brennan's oral histories of major figures and foreign affairs initiatives during his service as the Marine Corp military aide to President Richard Nixon and as his chief of staff during President Nixon's post-presidency years.
