The Coalition of Essential Schools (CES) records contains various materials documenting the foundation of CES. The records contain correspondence between CES and partner and funding institutions, as well as extensive documentation of grant funding pursued and distributed by CES. The development of the Essential Schools movement is embodied in the publication of Horace and in the video recordings of Coalition schools.
The Brown Christian Association records contain material relating to various issues in which the BCA was involved, such as disarmament and conscientious objectors during World War II, various relief organizations for post-war Europe, and organizations that provided aid to poor children in the United States. The collection includes annual reports, journals, and newsletters produced by the organization; correspondence and files of K. Brooke Anderson and Joe Wang; records related to campus activities during World War II; peace activities; and subject files. The materials are dated from 1881 to 1969.
The Women and Men of Brown records contain meeting minutes, agendas, financial records, correspondence, reports, bylaws and photographs related to the Brown University campus society and its various committees and interest groups. The material dates from 1924 through 2010.
The John B. Price papers contain office files dated from circa 1968 to 1977, when Price was the Brown University Business Manager and Controller. The first part of the files are arranged alphabetically by topic, and include materials related to the budget, class gifts, food services, housing and insurance. The latter files are arranged chronologically from January 1975 through December 1977.
The Pembroke College Seventy-fifth Anniversary files include records kept by the anniversary committee, Dean Rosemary Pierrel, and the Alumnae Association Committee, which are comprised of minutes, correspondence, reports, and accounts. There are also programs, tickets, invitations, and articles. The material dates from 1965 to 1971.
The papers of Russell H. Greenan include correspondence, literary manuscripts, reviews and publicity, personal materials, photographs, financial records, and legal records. The majority of the collection documents Greenan's career as an author.

James H. Van Alen (1902-1991) and Candace Van Alen (1912-2002), were a well-known high society couple who were instrumental in establishing the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino in Newport, Rhode Island. This collection consists of personal records, correspondence, published and unpublished writings, clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, audiovisual materials, artifacts, and textiles which document the lives, interests, and residences of James H. Van Alen and Candace Van Alen both separately and as a couple.
