The Brown University Library reports contains annual and monthly reports of the University Librarian, reports of the Assistant Librarian, and minutes and reports of the Library committee. Reports document finances, staffing, and collection development.
The Brown University Peace Corps files contain publications by the Peace Corps, training materials, and office files compiled from 1965 to 1967. The office files include correspondence and staff personnel records.
The Brown University Registrar's accounts consist of one series. The collection includes Steward accounts from 1826 to 1838; accounts of Lemuel H. Elliott, registrar, from 1858/1859 to 1861/1862 (arranged chronologically); Registrar financial accounts (1844-1864) and reports (1864-1882). The collection also contains "Charitable Account" and account of "Beneficiaries," from 1836 to 1843.
The Brown-Tougaloo Exchange records contain correspondence, reports, financial data, grant proposals, teaching materials, tape recordings and press clippings produced by or about Tougaloo College and its exchange program with Brown University. The collection also includes financial and documentary material about the U.S. Higher Education Act of 1965, especially its Title III, Institutional Aid.
The Bureau of Business Research records contain reports and correspondence related to the mission of developing a close relationship between the Department of Economics at Brown University and the Rhode Island business and manufacturing community. The reports chiefly concern labor turnover and the jewelry industry in Rhode Island. Correspondents include well known Rhode Island firms such as the Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Company, the Davol Rubber Company, and the Gorham Manufacturing Company. The records are dated from 1919 to 1939.
The Butler Hospital records contain many of the hospital's records from its founding in 1841 to approximately its 50th anniversary in 1891. These records document the changing attitudes toward the mentally ill in Europe and the United States in the early 19th century as well as communal responsibility for the less fortunate, the responsibility of the wealthy for sharing both their wealth and their expertise, the financial practices of the period, detailed specifications on the construction of the first hospital of any kind in Rhode Island, the hospital's expansion, and the day-to-day expenses of such an institution.

The William N. Davis Plant Business Manager office files contain general office files, minutes and reports related to the management of food services, housing, and the physical plant of Brown University. They include information regarding the budget and unions at Brown as well as files regarding on-campus and off-campus buildings owned by Brown. The files are dated from circa 1946 to 1974.
Correspondence, memoranda, lists, contracts,
inventories, military and naval orders, and plans regarding the early administration
and curriculum of the Naval War College, new building construction, and items
relating to the establishment of a naval coaling station in Narraganset Bay. Also
included are journals and letterpress copybooks kept by past NWC presidents Charles
Stockton and French Chadwick.
