The Associated Alumni Files includes committee files, meeting minutes, and reports dated from 1880 to 1970, with most dated from 1916 to 1948. It includes materials regarding class reunions, constitutions, commencements, the Brown Club, the Advisory Board, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Alumni Fund, and general files.
The Mary Anne Atwood Papers contains
letters and manuscripts for the period 1882-1910. Most of the
letters in the collection are written from M.A. Atwood to Mme.
Isabelle de Steiger. The collection also includes other letters
written and received by Atwood, manuscript drafts and notes.
According to the admirers of Mary Anne Atwood, "Mrs. Atwood was
truly an adept [of the metaphysical tradition]. The last one." "The
Atwood material is very important for the study of a vanished
Britain, when Neo-Platonism and High Ideas influenced the nation.
But, as Mrs. Atwood says, they went in for power and threw their
spiritual heritage out the window."

The Isaac Backus Papers consists of family letters (dating from the years 1750 through 1806), travel journals, a listing of his library, church minutes, book manuscripts, sermons, and family genealogy. Backus was a Baptist preacher, historian and advocate of religious freedom in New England before, during and after the American Revolution.

The Thomas F. Banchoff papers (1935-2012, bulk 1963-1997) contain administrative, research, and teaching materials relating to Professor Banchoff's tenure as a professor of mathematics at Brown University. Included are correspondence, lecture and research notes, manuscripts, course syllabi and exams, and records of various faculty and university committees of which he was a member. The papers also include records from Professor Banchoff's term as acting Dean of Student Affairs at Brown (1971-1972) that reflect the racial and political campus issues of the time.
