Abstract:
The Records of the Office of Vice President represents the records of two men, John Barlow and Harold Browning, who occupied the Office of the Vice President from 1940 through 1947 at the then Rhode Island State College. Both men served the institution for over forty years and both held a number of administrative positions, each often occupying a number of positions simultaneously. These records cover the war and post-war years at the school, as well as significant administration changes.
